Robbers attack Vanguard S/South Advert Manager

The South-South Regional Advert Manager of Vanguard Newspapers, Dr. Nat Bunuju was attacked by four armed young men along Okhoro road, Benin City on Thursday while coming from an all night holy Passion week service with members of his family. Continue..

The robbers were operating in a neighbour’s house when they sighted the car light of Dr. Bunuju.

They quickly advanced towards his gate and bailed-up all of them at gun point. They were eventually taken inside by the hostile robbers, ransacked the whole house where they took away phones, madam’s gold, cash and other items. According to Dr. Bunuju, the boys were very aggressive and were ready to gun down anybody if they were not attended to quickly.

It was also confirmed that they shot a woman in the neighbour’s house. The good thing now is that nobody was shot in Dr. Bunuju’s house. He said one of the robbers used the butt of his pump-action gun on his face, thereby causing him some injury. He said one of the painful things are the contacts on his phones. In all, he thanked God for saving him and members of his family.
