Lumia 535 deepens penetration with dual SIM, large screen advantage

Barely three months after Microsoft Devices introduced Lumia 535 as its first flagship signaling the end of Nokia in the mobile phone ecosystem, the smart device has continued to gain market attention as a result of many exciting features especially dual SIM and large screen advantage. Continue...

Powered with 5-inch, 960 x 540 screen; Snapdragon 200 processor; 5MP cameras front and rear; 8GB of storage; microSD slot and many more, the new product runs on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
Available in bright green, bright orange, white and black, users can make memorable Skype video calls, access, edit and share Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents and many more.
Latest Windows Phone experience:
The device comes with the latest version of Windows Phone. And with regular over-the-air updates, users will always have the newest software.
Lumia experience
With the device, users can get all the benefits of Lumia experiences including Skype, Cortana, Office and OneDrive
Design and features
Packed with premium features, the Lumia 535 sports a coulourful design, easy readability in sunlight on a large five-inch display and a quad-core processor for a smooth smartphone experience. It also has built-in 8 GB of internal storage and 15 GB of free OneDrive storage.
While using the phone, one is clear. The Gorilla Glass is protective ensuring the screen remains fairly sturdy and scratch-free. Although the Lumia ReFocus app is missing on this device, at first touch, the product feels slim at 8.8mm, which is an improvement on Lumia 530 Dual SIM.
Screen:
Although most middle range phones have smaller, 4-inch, the 5-inch Lumia 535 stands out in comparison. No wonder it does not look like a cheap phone as a result of its size which puts it in similar category to much more expensive rivals.
Interestingly, outdoor visibility of the product is very good, an area majority of phones in the same category often struggle with.
But despite Microsoft’s use of IPS display tech, the viewing angle of the product is quite shallow with a noticeable loss of detail when viewed slightly off-centre. One major criticism here is that the ambient sensor often sets the screen a little dimmer than expected
Camera:
The product can do more by taking stunning selfies and fit more friends into the picture with the wide-angle, 5 MP front-facing camera aoto focus and ¼ inch.
And coming with the popular Lumia Selfie app installed for easy access to the front-facing camera, enhances your selfies with filters and easily share with friends from the app to OneDrive, Instagram, Twitter and many more. Even with its shortfalls, Lumia 535 Dual SIM is an interesting proposition for buyers who are looking for a Windows device at affordable price.
