A human parts merchant, identified as Olorunto Dipe, aged 35, currently in the custody of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos State Police Command, has explained how he became a dealer in human parts. Continue..
He said: “I bought a human head for N12,500 from Cotonou, Benin Republic, and intended to sell it to one man called Asiwaju, whom I knew from Oba Ishegun from Atan in Ogun State, for N20,000 before I was arrested.”
Vanguard gathered that the suspect was arrested by a SARS decoy team.
Olorunto said: “Asiwaju asked me to bring a human head. He said he will use it to help me.
“I went to Cotonou and bought it for N12,500 with the intention of selling it for N20,000 to him before I was caught by SARS operatives.”
On the help he was expecting from the said Asiwaju, he said: “I am suffering from Ete (leprosy). He promised to cure me with a human head, but he did not succeed. It was at a hospital that I was cured.”
It was learned that although the said Asiwaju was also arrested, he was granted bail because he claimed that he did not know Olorunto.
