peaking at the unveiling ceremony, during the week, excited Toke said, she did not sign the deal because of the financial benefit. “I did not sign the deal because of the financial benefits attached to it. I always like getting personal with a brand before I sign any deal with them. My deal with Payporte is all about the passion and love I have for the brand and not about money. I know the brand has quality and that is what I stand for,” she said.
On his own, Tayo said, the originality of the brand inspired his decision to identify with it. “ Before participating in the last Big Brother Africa reality show, I was not in the country and I do not know anything about the brand. But, when they visited the BBA house I picked interest in the brand because of its originality and that is what I stand for. I also love the brand because of its colour. So, when they visited the house, I became passionate with the brand because of these two things. I did not sign the deal because of the money involved. I signed it because I believe in them and their originality,” he explained.
According to the MD/CEO, Payporte Global Systems Limited, Mr. EyoBassey, “Payporte is very happy with its choice of ambassadors and very excited about this new journey. We are a fast growing online business with the young, urban professionals and mature adults as our target audience. Our brand is strongly committed to delivering best services. We are very confident that Toke and Tayo will do an exemplary job in, not just retaining our brand values but also, in promoting those values. Before we selected them as our ambassadors, we sampled opinion of the public and we got positive responses from them”
