Ronaldo goes to school

He’s been a hands-on father since welcoming his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. in July 2010.
And single dad Cristiano Ronaldo is clearly totally devoted to raising his adorable mini-me, taking the day off work to accompany his son on his first day of school.
The superstar footballer – who has vowed to keep his child’s mother’s identity a secret – clutched the four-year-old’s hand protectively as he brought him up to the school gates in Madrid, Spain on Monday morning.
He held his son’s backpack in one hand as he laughed and joked with the boy, who is fluent in Portugese, Spanish and English.
The adorable kid is clearly taking after his famous father, wearing a sportswear inspired look for his big school debut.
The 29-year-old sports legend has put his son first since his arrival, so it comes as no surprise that he was present for the landmark occasion.
“My family comes first – my son is the most important thing in my life,” he previously told The Mirror.
“I’d love him to follow in my footsteps and become a footballer but he can be anything he likes. It’s still a long time off to worry about that.”
