Prince Harry to quit British army

Prince Harry announced on Tuesday he will leave the British armed forces after a decade of service, which included two operational tours in Afghanistan.
As the younger son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, 30-year-old Prince Harry is known in the army as Captain Harry Wales. Continue..

He said he would quit the military in June, after a four-week secondment to the Australian Defence Force.
The prince entered the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in May 2005, and completed a 44-week officer training. He went on his first tour in Afghanistan in late 2007 as a Forward Air Controller. After trained as an Apache attack helicopter pilot, he went on a second Afghan tour between September 2012 and January 2013, as an Apache pilot.
His military service helped counteract the image of a royal wild child and gained him popularity.
Prince Harry is fourth in line to succeed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, and will be pushed to fifth by his brother Prince William’s second child, who is due in April.
