National telecoms operator, Globacom, has unveiled a new post-paid plan for its teeming subscribers.
Globacom said the new package, called ‘Glo post-paid smart plan’, would give up to 50-gigabyte data, 50 hours of free voice calls, which could be used to make local and international calls and 5,000 free Short Messaging Service. Continue..
Speaking at the official launch of the plan in Lagos, the company’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ashok Israni, pointed out that the offer was “the best” in post-paid service because of its numerous benefits.
He explained that a purchase of N5, 000 would attract a bonus of 5GB data, 500 free SMS and five hours of free voice call while a 10,000 purchase gives the customer 10-gigabyte data, 1,000 free SMS and 10 hours of voice calls.
“A 25,000 plan gives 25GB data, 25 hours of free voice calls and 2,500 free SMS,” he added.
Israni said the benefits accruable from a N50, 000 plan included 50GB data, 50 hours of free voice calls? and 5,000 free SMS.
According to him, a plan of N10, 000 and above comes with a vanity number, which allows the customer to select special numbers on the network.
He said the benefits would be automatically added to the plan and subscribers did not need to dial a special code.
Israni underscored Globacom’s profound appreciation of the patronage by its very loyal customers since inception, assuring subscribers that the company would continue to re-invent and re-tool for optimum service delivery.
“This time around, we are focusing on our clientele on the post-paid platform whom we are giving a unique and unprecedented combo of extra data and free talk time in addition to the exciting goodies they currently enjoy.

He noted that the Glo post-paid smart plan does not charge extra and there are no hidden terms. “You do not have to dial any code to savour the benefits. All you have to do is just recharge normally and the benefits would roll in without much ado,” he added.
A post-paid customer and the Director, Information Technology, Nigeria Maritime and Shipping Agency, Mr. Chris Amakulo, commended Globacom for being customer-friendly in all its services. He said this allure endeared most subscribers to the brand.
Mr. Rufus McBegor of Afren Energy, another Glo post-paid subscriber since 2003, described the smart post-paid plan as amazing because of its flexibility.
Answering questions on the new product, Globacom’s Head, Corporate Sales, Kamaldeen Shonibare, assured customers of the network’s capability to cope with the expected increase that the new smart plan would bring.
