It is a Fun Fair activities in celebration of this year’s Christmas party as over 100,000 children and 3,000 teachers were hosted by the largest children’s fan club in Nigeria –“Indomie Fan Club”.
Faith Plaza Bariga, Park Land M/Land, Fun Factory Ikorodu, Villa Park Festac, Eysian Events Place Alagbado, Starjen Igbolorin, Exibition Hall 1 National Theatre Iganmu Lagos, Brainfield Igando, all came alive as pupils from various schools kicked off the Christmas party organised by Dufil Prima Foods Plc, makers of Indomie Instant Noodles, through the Indomie Fan Club (IFC). According to Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, Public Relations Officer of Dufil Prima, the event was staged to celebrate Christmas with kids and appreciate their teachers for molding them into great leaders.
“The fan club was launched July 2005 with the aim of creating fun, excitement, bonding and enabling environment for children as well as a way of appreciating the kids, and the reason is not far-fetched, as it has remained a passion of the company to show appreciation and love to the children, who remain loyal to our brand as they are the brand’s core loyalists”
“we continue to place premium on the well being and overall developmental growth of the Nigerian child as there are no doubt, the seed of greater future for our nation”.
He said the company would not rest on its oars to continue to support causes that would contribute to both the mental and physical development of children in Nigeria through support for education and creating opportunities like this to amuse and excite them.
Coordinator of the Indomie Fan Club, Mrs. Faith Joshua commended Dufil Prima Foods for giving the Nigerian children the rare opportunity of a memorable Christmas day across different regions, especially in situations where some parents might not be opportuned to take them out for the celebration.
According to her, the fan club has been very supportive of schools both in recreation and academics.
“Indomie Fan club organises excursion for the children in order to enhance their learning experience, quiz and essay competition, Music Competition and art and craft competition for the children in order to develop them mentally.
“Also, teachers are engaged in series of trainings like “Training the Trainer” in order help build a better leader for the nation.
