A
suicide bomber who pretended he was about to refill in a station
killed himself, three policemen and two other persons at Hotoro quarters
along Maiduguri road, Kano State.
The state police commissioner Aderenle Shinaba confirmed the toll and said the suicide bomber was driving a Toyota Sienna vehicle when the blast occured on Friday evening.
There are several checkpoints on the road which links Kano and the North East where the mobile police barracks is situated and there was heavy security mounted in the area.
