Jordan Henderson has been appointed Liverpool vice-captain, the club have confirmed. The England international, who has made 136 appearances for the club since joining from Sunderland in 2011, assumes the role as Steven Gerrard’s deputy following the departure of Daniel Agger to Brondby.
