Man City make U-turn on Iheanacho
Manchester City have made a sensational U-turn to have Kelechi Iheanacho feature for Nigeria at next month’s African Youth Championship.
After first saying the player will be unavailable for the AYC in Senegal due to injury, English Premier League champions City have now gone back on this, saying Iheanacho could be released to join the Flying Eagles for Senegal 2015 as he has fully recovered ahead of a mid-March time frame earlier set by the EPL club. Mama G reacts to Most Influential Igbo Personalities list
Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, has lauded the idea behind the book and platform, Most Influential Igbo Personalities,MIIP, authored by Ugochukwu Favour-Mayor. Boko Haram attacks Adamawa villages, kills 40
Members of the Boko Haram insurgents attacked three villages in Hong Local Council of Adamawa State, in the early hours of Thursday and yesterday, killing at least 40 people.

Elections: CAN denies N7bn bribery allegation
The Christian Association of Nigeria has denied the allegation that its leaders were offered N7bn by the Presidency to campaign for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election.

Alfa kills, shares friend’s body parts
An Alfa in the Badagry area of Lagos State, Fatai Afobaje, has been accused of conspiring with some security men in his area to kill his friend, Rafiu Suleiman.

58 year old Nigerian priest, Father Hilary Ogom Nwadei, pictured above has been sentenced to 8 months in jailed by a UK court for sexually assaulting a woman he met while staying at St Mary’s Priory in Leyland on December 12, 2013.
