Air force corporal slaps inspector at filling station
There was confusion at a filling station along the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Road after a female police inspector attached to the Airport Police Command and identified as Mrs. Florence Anih, was slapped by a Nigerian Air Force lance corporal.
The lance corporal, who was in a truck marked, Rotary Group 205, was identified as Friday Zadiel.

Collapsed bridge: Contractor must compensate victims, says Kwankwaso
The Kano State Police Command said that it had started investigation into the cause of the collapsed bridge that killed seven persons in Kano on Sunday.
Also, the state Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, said the government would force the contractor handling the project to pay for the medical bills of the injured victims.

NNPC’s Missing $20bn: I’ve nothing to hide, says Jonathan
The Presidency and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), yesterday, said they were ready for any probe the incoming administration of President-elect, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) would undertake.
The Presidency was responding to Buhari’s resolve to probe the reported Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) missing $20 billion and allegations by the All Progressives Congress (APC) of last-minute looting of the treasury and rash actions by the outgoing government. It said the party would probe activities of the government especially after the March 28 presidential polls.

The Italian coastguard has rescued 228 migrants off the Libyan coast in the Mediterranean Sea.

Nike signs new football kit deal with NFF
Clothing Giant, Nike, has signed a deal with the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, to design and develop Nigeria's football kits for both the male and female national teams. Man murdered while jogging in Lagos
The Lagos state Police command is currently investigating the mystery surrounding the murder of an unidentified sportsman said to be jogging in the Morogbo area of Badagry in Lagos state on February 26th 2015.
