A blue Toyota car with number plate MK382 AAA and a Mercedes Benz with number plate GGE 278 CK were also taken away. His daughter was also raped by one of the suspected robbers,” he said.

Investigation by the police led to the arrest of Afolabi Oluwatobi (24), Morakinyo Olufemi (43), Ayodele Ademola (55) and Azeez Rafiu (27) while efforts are going on to recover their loot.

The rapist among the gang, Ademola, said he was there with two others and that it was his first time of taking part in a robbery. He said he was the one who raped the girl.

He said, “I live in Ilesa and I sell gravel. I have never worked in Ibadan before. This is my first time of robbing anyone in my life. I was introduced to the game by a man who did not go with us on the day of the operation. I met the rest of the gang in a motor garage. I raped a young girl during the operation.”
